A Tribute To The World Golf Hall of Fame, St. Augustine, Florida

The World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine, Florida is a very special place for those of us devoted to the game of golf.

The World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum provides an extensive look at the game of golf through stories, artifacts, videos, art and photography of its members within 75,000 square foot exhibition space. Guests have the opportunity to enhance their visit with an audio tour guide that tells “behind the scenes” stories from Hall of Fame members themselves. Admission includes two-day access to the museum, a round on the 18-hole natural putting course and a shot on the Challenge Hole.

World Golf Village Resort possesses two of the Jacksonville areas favorite golf courses. Located in beautiful St. Augustine, FL, the golf courses feature challenging and rewarding holes that provide great play for all skill levels.

King & Bear
Home to the renowned “King & Bear” golf course, a one of a kind design by Hall of Famers — Arnold Palmer & Jack Nicklaus, our course is the only design collaboration by these two great, and its where we earned our status as the most exciting and storied Jacksonville golf facility.

Slammer & Squire
Not to be outdone by the famous King & Bear, our second course is anything but a second thought. Built in 1998 through a unique 3-way design collaboration between legendary golf course designer Bobby Weed and design consultants Sam “The Slammer” Snead and Gene “The Squire” Sarazen, our “Slammer & Squire” course is an example of what Jacksonville golf should be.

Watch these videos that describe the Golf museum and have fun listening to the acceptance speeches of the 2012 Inductees including Phil Mickelson, Sandy Lyle and Dan Jenkins

Visit the World Golf Hall of Fame if you get a chance. You will love it.
