Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal Show

Holiday Isle Oceanfront Resort, 860 A1A Beach Boulevard at St. Augustine Beach, will host this summer's Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal Show featuring the best of St. Augustine wedding venues and services. 

The show takes place from 1 to 4 p.m.

Lend Me A Tenor

Show Runs Friday July 20 through Sunday August 19

When a famed Italian tenor passes out prior to his performance, the manager persuades his assistant, an aspiring tenor, to take his place. When Il Stupendo comes to, two Othellos are chasing lingerie-clad women and this classic farce is at its finest!

Performance times are Thursday through Saturday at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2pm. All performances take place at the Limelight Theatre, 11 Old Mission Avenue in Saint Augustine. Tickets are $25 for adults, $22 for seniors and $20 for students and military.

More than 40 original artworks created and presented by the artist members of the Society of Mixed Media Artists (SoMMA), a membership organization that meets bi-monthly offering programs and demonstrations that will help introduce and educate members (and the public) in all forms of Mixed Media including Collage, Experimental, Encaustic, Abstract bringing together those who wish to share their knowledge and ideas and to help others in the never ending spectrum of Mixed Media. Light appetizers and wine will be offered free to the public.

Joe Cocker and Dave Mason to Perform at St. Augustine Amphitheatre in September 2012

Joe Cocker, and special guest Dave Mason, will perform at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on Sunday, September 30th, 2012

Joe Cocker is an English rock and blues singer who came to popularity in the 1960s and is recognized by his gritty voice, his idiosyncratic arm movements while performing, and his cover versions of popular Beatles songs. He is the recipient of several awards, including a 1983 Grammy for his #1 hit “Up Where We Belong”, a duet with Jennifer Warnes. He was ranked #97 on Rolling Stone’s 100 greatest singers list.

Dave Mason is an English singer-songwriter, and guitarist who first found fame with the rock band Traffic. Mason’s best known song is “Feelin’ Alright”, recorded by Traffic in 1968 and later by many other performers, including Joe Cocker, who had a major hit with the song in 1969. “We Just Disagree”, Mason’s 1977 solo hit written by Jim Krueger, has become a staple of Classic Hits and Adult Contemporary radio playlists.

Tickets started selling this Friday, June 29^th, at 10 a.m. at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall box offices.
